Dean Li Guanghui highly commended Jilin Business and Technology College for its pioneering efforts in compiling village histories and developing frontier databases in border regions, while highlighting three key priorities: First, to adopt a long-term vision by treating these initiatives as enduring projects, fully tapping into their academic value and practical potential to systematically reconstruct the historical and developmental narratives of frontier areas. Second, to enhance the application of research outcomes by translating findings into policy advisory reports that provide intellectual support for Jilin Province's development plans, thereby strengthening the university's role in regional socioeconomic advancement. Third, to foster collaborative partnerships through the Think Tank Alliance of Frontier Economics Universities, deepening inter-institutional cooperation to facilitate data sharing, academic exchanges, and joint talent development. This collaborative approach will focus on frontier-specific fields to achieve landmark achievements.
